I am a climate scientist, an ambitious road tripper, and a sled hockey player.
I received my Ph.D. in atmospheric science from Colorado State University in 2024, where my research focused on making skillful predictions using climate model simulations and interpretable machine learning methods. In 2019, I was awarded the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship and the CSU Walter Scott Jr. Graduate Fellowship. Presentations on this research were awarded at national conferences in 2022 and 2024, and highlighted in the 2023 DEIXIS Magazine.

Following my graduation, I took a gap year to explore the beauty of the western U.S. and Canada by car and tent. While I took this time for me—a promise I made to myself at the beginning of grad school—I also wanted to keep record of the best camps/hikes for those in a manual wheelchair. While all disabilities are different, I hope my notes can help others organize their wheelchair-accessible road trips.

In the rest of my spare time, I play sled hockey with the Seattle Kraken, fantasy baseball with the I-75 Strat-O-Matic Baseball league, and write code to analyze data about the things I am passionate about.
